Summer Skincare: Ready. Set. Go!
Sunnier days are here and summer is back. Make sure your skin is ready for the season.

Remember that excessive sunlight exposure and lack of proper protection over time has been linked to the occurrence of wrinkles, dryness, and age spots. More serious impacts of prolonged sun exposure include skin cancer and other threats.
Here are some ways to protect your skin this summer:
#1 Sunscreen
Apply sunscreen 15 to 30 minutes before venturing out into the sun. Use at least an ounce on your face and entire body.
Reapply every two hours if you are swimming, sweating, or outdoors for a long length of time. To that end, choose water-resistant sunscreen.
#2 Lip Balm
Similar to the effects of sunscreen, wearing lip balm can protect your lips from the effects of sun exposure.
Just be sure that the lip balm you choose is not high-shine.
For even stronger protection, choose a lip balm that contains SPF 15 or higher and apply every two hours while in the sun.
#3 Protective Clothing
Dress appropriately for the sun. To start, choose a hat that covers your ears and full face.
Also, keep in mind that darker clothes tend to absorb UV light to keep it away from the body.
And don’t forget a pair of sunglasses to keep the UV rays away from your eyes and its surrounding areas of the skin.
#4 Hydrate.
Be sure to drink enough water throughout your day.
